Beef Stroganoff

I usually use egg noodles in this recipe, but I didn't have any so I used just my normal pasta. It was actually really good. I use whole wheat pasta so I can pretend that whatever I make with it is super healthy (right). From a taste standpoint I don't think it's very different than normal pasta, it's mostly a texture thing. Normally it's just something that I don't mind, but with this particular recipe, the creamy sauce specifically, I really liked the additional texture. I only used half a package of brown gravy mix and that seemed to work out just fine.

  1. If you add red wine instead of sour cream you get beef burgundy. I only made it that way when you kids would eat it all before dad got home...he didn't prefer it, but the rest of you liked it just fine :)
