I'm not even going to try to characterize this blog. I made it partially because I like to cook, and enjoy talking about what I've made far more than anyone cares to listen. It’s also an excuse to take pictures of yummy foods, even though they often don't look all that pretty. And probably the only actually useful thing here is a comprehensive list of things I've made. So here goes.

Homemade Pizza Rolls
Enh. Not particularly impressed. They maybe would have been better with more cheese and less old-ish mushrooms. Clearly the theme is to use up crescent rolls. (Also I wanted pizza but don't own yeast)
I really like this idea in general though. Did the crescents make a good outer shell? Not too much leaking of sauce when they baked? Stuffed crescent rolls have a lot of potential for ideas.
I accidentally rolled them backwards (pointy tip in) but that seemed to work out ok. You can kind of see that there was only a little bit of leakage on the tips, but nothing too bad. I do wish I had added more sauce-I was pretty conservative with it for that reason-but with what I had it stayed in pretty well. The dough is pretty flexible to work with as far as making seals. I think it made a good shell. Like I said I mostly noticed the old mushrooms, making it hard to judge the rest.
